October 28, 1929 – February 18, 2022

Zetta Marie Lawrence Hoog, 92, of Friendswood, Texas passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 around 7:30 P.M. in Friendswood, Texas. She was born October 28, 1929 to William Lawrence and Katherine Keough Lawrence in Benkelman, Nebraska.  She was the 2nd oldest out of 4 Children. Her older sister, Creta Mae passed away in 2012 and her brother Bill Lawrence passed away in 2017.

Nana, as most of her family called her, was an amazing teacher to everyone she ever met. She was the best listener and advisor, cook and instructor, artist, and clothing designer.

She was loved by everyone that ever met her from the neighbors to the other parents from some school event.

She is survived by her younger sister Mona Rae; twin daughters, Deborah K. Cupp and Pamela R. Pinder; stepchildren Wesley Hoog and Alicia Hoog; granddaughter Caresia L. Wallace; great granddaughter Stephanie M. Lester; great grandson Steven M. Snyder and twin great great grandson Hunter W. Lester and great great granddaughter Ashlynn N. Lester.

Zetta "Nana" will be missed dearly by family and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546 (281) 992-7200 with Rev. Wesley Duncan officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
