Waylon Raymond Donaho, eleven months old, of Friendswood, died on August 7, 2026. He was the son of John Donaho and Stefanie Plunkett.
Waylon loved to babble and stick his tongue out. He liked being read Pig the Pug, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, and Don’t Touch the Shark. He liked shaking his maraca, splashing in the bath, and was obsessed with water bottles. He loved dancing with his parents, and making monkey noises while bouncing up and down in his mom’s arms. Waylon loved dogs of all shapes and sizes.
He is survived by his parents, John and Stefanie; his grandparents, John and Jessy Donaho, Jasmine Laye Donaho, and JJ and Lori Plunkett; and the family dogs, Libby and Eevee.
Waylon died from complications of a Meckel’s diverticulum, a congenital condition present at birth. He was loved completely for every one of his 339 days and will be missed for the rest of ours.
A Visitation and Rosary will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 from 5:30-7:30 PM at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr. Friendswood, TX 77546. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood Dr. Friendswood, TX 77546. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 7801 Gulf Fwy Dickinson, TX 77539
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Three Little Pitties Dog and Cat Rescue.
