In Loving Memory

Stacy Lee Grace

November 4, 1964 – March 18, 2022

Stacy Osborn Grace, age 57, left this life on the morning of March 18, 2022 due to complications related to a stroke.  Stacy’s passing at HCA Houston Hospital in Clear Lake was peaceful and serene.

Stacy was born November 4, 1964 in Texas City, TX to Bobbie Jones Osborn Slayton and Charles Michael “Buddy” Osborn.  She grew up in Dickinson, TX where she graduated from Dickinson High School in 1983.  Stacy was always quite popular, with a menagerie of friends throughout her life.  Stacy absolutely LOVED animals and was always caring for some stray critter.

She also loved and thrived on a close-knit family circle, ending every conversation with a contagious “I Love You”.

Stacy had followed in her mother and step-father’s footsteps, working at NASA for approximately 30 years.

Stacy was truly a loving, caring mother, sister, daughter and friend.  She possessed a quick wit and her good-hearting ribbing with friends and family could always change the mood of a room… sometimes for the good, sometimes not so much!

Stacy was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Slayton and her step-father, Donald K. “Deke” Slayton, her father, “Buddy” Osborn, and her younger brother, Jimmy Osborn.

She is survived by her 2 loving children, Donald K.S. “Deke” Grace and Shelby D. Grace and by her ex-husband, Rick Grace. Her uncle Joe Osborn and wife Mary Kay and cousin Craig Osborn, nephews; Curtis Osborn and James Osborn.

Services will be at Jeter Funeral Home 311 N. Friendswood Dr. Friendswood, Texas 77546 Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 10:00am.  After the service, friends and family will gather to celebrate Stacy’s life and have lunch at La Brisa Mexican Grill at 501 N Wesley Dr, League City, TX at 12:30pm. Please RSVP for the lunch to Shelby Grace at 832-405-2654.

In lieu of flowers, Stacy’s family requests donations in her memory to S.A.V.E. Rescue Coalition, a pet adoption and care organization.  Donations can be made on their website at https://www.saverescue.org/donate/ or they can be reached at 844-336-7283 or in writing at P.O.
