Sherry Ann Campbell

Sherry Ann Campbell

June 23, 1952 – July 22, 2025

After a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer Sherry Ann Campbell of Friendswood, Texas passed away on the morning of July 22, 2025 with her brother and sister-in-law at her side.

Sherry was born to Charles Nelson Campbell and Dorothy Todd Campbell on June 23, 1952, in Tampa, Florida.  She graduated from Katy High School in 1970 and received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology cum laude from the University of Houston in 1976.  In 1997 she earned a Master’s Degree in Human Relations and Business from Amber University in Garland, Texas.

Sherry started her career in the San Antonio school district working as a speech pathologist.  She later transitioned to a career in technical writing and software support for companies in Dallas and Houston.

Sherry enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, traveling and, most of all, being with friends.  She was a devoted daughter who spent the last 30 years taking care of her mom, Dorothy.  Sherry was also a fantastic aunt to her three nephews and always kept them supplied with lots of chocolate birthday cake and cookies.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Nelson Campbell of Friendswood.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Campbell, brother Charles Campbell, sister-in-law Marianeta Replentes Campbell and nephews Charles, Matthew and Vincent, all of Friendswood.

We extend our gratitude to Gentiva Hospice and Faith Bridge Caregivers for their help and support.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas.
