In Loving Memory

Russell M. Davis

Russell M. Davis

March 6, 1952-October 2, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Russell Davis, who passed away from heart disease.

Russell was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, cherished brother, and loyal friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth Anne; his children, Brandy, Heath, and Nicholas, along with his son-in-law, John, and daughter-in-law, Kimberly; his stepchildren, James and Holly, and son-in-law, Thomas. He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren, Chyler, Mason, Keaton, Payton, Lynley, Ethan, Madison, Brayden, and Lilly (“Toot”), who all brought him immeasurable joy.

Russell is also survived by his loving siblings, Roy, Josh, Penny, Rosemary, and Robin. Family was the center of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with those he loved.

Russell found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved camping in the RV, spending time fishing, and creating handcrafted woodworking projects. Whether he was building something with his hands or enjoying the outdoors, he took pride in everything he did.

More than anything, Russell loved connecting with people. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere. His friendly nature, kind heart, and genuine interest in others made a lasting impression on everyone he met. His gift for making people feel welcome and valued will be remembered by all who knew him.

Russell’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many lives he touched throughout the years. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Friends and Family are cordially invited to a Memorial Service on Friday, October 23, 2026, starting at 5:00 PM, at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 North Friendswood Dr. Friendswood, TX 77546.

“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
