In Loving Memory

Ronda Denise Attra

April 3, 1964 – June 3, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ronda Denise Attra on June 3, 2025, at the age of 61.

Born on April 3, 1964, Ronda lived a life marked by resilience, warmth, and unshakable kindness. She never met a person she didn’t like—and that kindness was returned by all who knew her. Though she faced many struggles throughout her life, Ronda was a true fighter, meeting every challenge with courage and grace.

Ronda had a joyful spirit and a beautiful voice; she loved to sing and often filled the room with music and light. Her simple pleasures—including a sweet spot for Candy Crush—were a reflection of the way she found happiness in everyday moments.

She had a deep faith in God, a generous heart, and an unwavering ability to think of others before herself. Even in her most difficult moments, her concern was always for those around her.

She is survived by her loving father, Ronald Attra; her devoted sister, Heather Attra; her sister-in-law, Patricia Hokanson; and her Aunt Sharon Attra and Aunt Carol Shivers.   Ronda was preceded in death by her uncle David Shivers and her beloved mother, Jacqueline Attra whose memory she carried close to her heart.

Ronda’s life was a testament to love, perseverance, and faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to cross her path.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Ronda’s memory to Forgotten Angels Inc., 6302 Broadway #240, Pearland, Texas 77581 or www.forgottenangels.org  (tax ID 76-0638579).

We were so blessed to have Rhonda in our lives when we lived in Plantation Estates so many years ago. She was such a delightful soul no matter what. Our prayers are with Ronny and Heather as they move through this challenging time. Much love, Norma and Zoe

  5. Dear Ron..although you will always be Ronnie to us,
We were saddened to hear of Ronda’s transition
to Heaven. As Christian’s we truly believe that
she is most definitely exploring the wonders of
Heaven…guided by her beloved mother Jacque
who’s has been waiting and preparing for her
as she did in this life! Ronda is flying free of
Earthly bonds and soaking up the total love of
Christ, Jacque, family and the Angels who watched
    over her .
    Old friends…Cotton and Lou Ann

Rhonda was such a dear friend to my daughter, Anne Horton at Forgotten Angels. Rhonda was so very kind to her. Rhonda brought out the best in Anne, who loved to help her when Rhonda needed any assistance. Her sweet demeanor was so very special. She will ne missed by all. What a beautiful reunion Rhonda is having with her Mom. God bless all who loved her.

  7. Deanna David, Assistant Director , Gulf Coast Center

I worked with Ronda as my teammate here at the Gulf Coast Center. She was our trusted receptionist and greeted us with a smile everyday. First, she worked in our Texas City office at the Mackey Bldg., then moved to the Pearland office(PAF) and her final office before she left was in League City. She answered and transferred our calls and greeted our clients with great customer service. She kept us laughing when she used the intercom and inspired us to calm down when we were stressed. Ronda will be missed and be forever in our memories! She is now blessed with everlasting harmony and peace in heaven and I know God will wrap her family in HIS arms.
