In Loving Memory

Robert Marl Hall Wills

Robert Marl Hall Wills

January 1, 1971 – February 2, 2026

Robert Marl Hall Wills, 55, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away of natural causes on February 2, 2026, at his home. He was known best by his middle name, Marl, by family and friends. He will be remembered for his determined attitude, love of life, family, friends and many passions.

Born on January 1, 1971, in Houston, Texas, Marl was the son of Peggy Jean Bramlett and the late Robert Lee Hall. After his mother remarried, he was adopted by the man he knew as his dad, Gary Michael Wills. He grew up in a close-knit family with his brothers, Gary Michael Wills Jr., Paul Matthew Wills and numerous extended family members sharing countless memories filled with laughter, road trip adventures, family vacations including the annual Guadalupe River trip, and shenanigans filled with love. From a young age, Marl was deeply active and involved with Kirkwood South Christian Church in Houston, where he developed friends there, along with the many friends from school that would remain throughout his life.

Marl’s interests reflected his quirky personality and curious spirit. A lifelong fan of *Star Wars*, he found inspiration and humor in the galaxy far, far away, often quoting his favorite lines to those close to him. He also cherished time with his friends, whether relaxing with good company at O’Brian’s Icehouse, or exploring new destinations on his travels. He had a passion for cars, old or new, exotic or common, and especially his Fiat 500!

Those who knew Marl will remember him for his staring gaze that said he’s “not buying what you’re selling”! He placed immense value on friendship and family, always wanting to include those around him. He had a sense of humor that left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.  “Sense of humor, this one has, hmmm?”— Yoda

Marl’s life will be celebrated on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Jeter Funeral Home, 311 North Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow at South Park Cemetery, 1310 North Main St., Pearland, TX 77581.

As we remember Marl, we are reminded of words from Yoda: “Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them, do not. Miss them, do not.” May his spirit shine on—forever part of the Force

  1. How sad I am to hear Marls is no longer with us. His joyful spirit brought laughs and comfort and happy moment to those of us lucky to know him. He was the very best Conscierge we ever had here in the building where I have lived for more than seven years. He took ownership and got things done. He cared and we all felt that caring. I am 81 and had fun with him and saw how little kids would jump for joy and laugh happily when he was at the lobby desk. Mark got along with everyone. My condolences to all who loved him.
