In Loving Memory

Paul Eric Gosselin

March 21, 1973 – March 20, 2022

Paul Eric Gosselin, age 48, left this life on the evening of March 20, 2022 due to a tragic motorcycle accident.

Paul was born in Houston, Texas and was raised in Friendswood, Texas by Jerry & Marina Gosselin.  When he was married, he moved to Deer Park, Texas with his wife until 2020 when they moved to Dallas, Texas.  Paul worked as a civil designer at Spiars Engineering in Plano, Texas.

Paul married Jennifer on November 16, 2013 and through marriage gained three kids, Jeffrey Brannon, Jacob Brannon and Jessica Brannon and loved them as his own.  The love and friendship between Paul and Jennifer is the type of relationship everyone aspire to achieve.  They were totally different yet perfect for each other.  Even through the tough times things always had a way of working out as they were each other’s best friends.  It all started with a friendship and blossomed into the most amazing love anyone could have for each other.

For those of you who knew Paul, you know that he was the life of the party.  He without a doubt would always know where to find the best food in town and never met a stranger, impacting every person he encountered. Paul had a gift of making those around him feel more loved and welcomed in just five seconds than they ever had in their entire life.  He was man who fought for those he loved, continuously lent a hand to those less fortunate, spent everyday like it was his last and enjoyed a nice cold IPA – no matter what time of day it was.  Paul’s love for his family and wife is something that should be admired.   He valued family time more than anything and made sure if he couldn’t be with them they knew he was thinking of them.  Paul’s life was taken tragically and way too soon but we know and believe in God’s sovereignty.  We thank Jesus, in the last moments of Paul’s` life he was able to spend it doing what he enjoyed most, riding his Yamaha Raider after enjoying some music in Deep Ellum in Dallas, TX. We love and honor the life you lived and for one last time, AYYYEOOOOO!!!!!!

A Liturgy of the Word Funeral Service and Rosary will be held Monday March 28, 2022 beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. with a visitation to follow until 7:00 P.M at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. James Kuczynski M.S. and Brother, Roger Clemont officiating. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday March 29, 2022 at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Chapel 311 N. Friendswood Dr. Friendswood, Texas 77546 with Becky Khan officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park East Cemetery, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598

You will be missed, but never forgotten. I am so grateful we got to meet Jen and Paul's family at a wedding and got to catch up a bit. Though distance made it hard to see each other. The memories will always be cherished. I have to share a couple…the comic book Bible you gave me during a visit…getting SO excited over a dusting of snow…and even more excited when we could have snowball fights or build snowmen. I hope you killed the 'mama lizard' I was sure I found behind the house…Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and our deepest sympathy. Hopefully, we can see you as an example and bring kindness, love, and laughter to all those that God puts in our path. Wishing we could be there.

  5. My brother. I will always cherish the time great times we had together. Whether it was conversation about music, types of different beers that I didn’t even like or just life in general. You became a wonderful spirit that entered my life at the perfect time. We will always love you and will always love you. Miss you brother. Until we meet again.

I know that we did not see each other all that often. I hold the memories that I have of you very dear. The times that Uncle Jerry, Aunt Marina, and you were able to come visit. The Christmas you came up and saw snow for the first time. You were soo excited. We all were so lucky to have met your wonderful family when you came up for Auntie Carmel's wedding to Bob. I cherish every moment spent with family. I am so happy I was able to make some great memories of you to keep forever in my heart. My prayers and love go out to everybody you have touched in you're short life during this tough time. Love you always dear cousin you will be greatly missed ❤.

  9. Ann and Tom Taft

We remember Paul as an active kid who lived across the street 50 years ago. Our friendship endured with Jerry and Marina as both families moved to other neighborhoods and Paul and our kids grew into adulthood.

We kept up with Paul’s life through his loving parents who were so proud of his happiness in marriage and success in his career.

We mourn with you and pray that God will bring comfort and peace.

  10. Mark Ewing, Spiars Coworker

Paul, you really were the life of the party. You were so fun to be around and you always made it a point to make other people feel included. I admired your passion, excitement, determination, and most of all your ability to connect with anyone and everyone. No matter who you met, you made it a point to make them feel heard and know that you cared for them. I feel lucky to have gotten to know you, even if it was only for a short time. We love you very much and miss your laughter.

  11. Melinda Horton / coworker Spiars Engineering

To Jennifer and all of Paul’s family, I am praying that God‘s peace and comfort will surround you every day as you walk this journey of loss. Paul was a wonderful guy. Every time that I talked to Paul, his love for his family and especially for you, Jennifer, shined through his conversation. He loved you. Paul was fun to work with and he always shared his smile with everyone he met. If you were able to sit by Paul at a Spiars event , you were the lucky one! I loved listening to his stories and seeing how happy he was with his place in life. He truly will be missed! He’ll always be remembered.
