In Loving Memory

Patrick Lewis Danforth

April 8, 1991 – April 16, 2022

Patrick died unexpectedly on April 16, 2022 at the age of 31 in Pearland, Tx.  He was born in Lewiston, Maine on April 8, 1991, the youngest son of Danny W  Danforth and Robin L. Boynton Danforth.

Patrick was a fighter from birth, his first 2 weeks of life in a NICU.  Over the years he battled other heath issues.  At the age of 18, he had “Don’t Ever Give Up” with a 4 leafed clover tattooed on his shoulder.  He was a fighter!

Patrick was educated in the Mt Vernon and Maranacook school systems where he played football, was on the math team, and even played the role of Beast in his grade school musical.  Patrick graduated from Husson University in Bangor, Maine with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Hospitality.

Patrick was a hard worker.  Summer jobs at Camp Laurel and Pine State Trading taught him customer service skills which he carried with him to Texas.  After graduation, he worked in Texas for Wholesale Electric, Graybar and currently for Rexel USA as an Industrial Project House Manager, Gulf Region.

In Patrick’s short time in Texas he made many friends and connections.  Patrick was ALWAYS putting others first and he will be greatly missed by hundreds of coworkers and friends.  Patrick was a gentleman and a man of his word!

While at Wholesale, Patrick met the love of his life, Shana Nicole Gray.  They shared a brief but beautiful life together with their three dogs, Zeus, Athena, and Boone.  They were married in September of 2020 during covid and married again on May 29, 2021 in a breathtaking ceremony.  The entire Gray family welcomed Patrick into their hearts.

Patrick was a true outdoorsman.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, jet skis, swimming and was a certified scuba diver.

Patrick was predeceased by his father Danny in 2019.

Patrick is survived by his wife Shana of Pearland, Texas, his mother, Robin, of Sidney, Maine, brother Matthew and wife Sarah of Elm Grove, Wisconsin, nieces Claire and Charlotte and grandmother, Shirley Boynton of Oakland, Maine, as well as his Texas family; In-laws Gus & Jennifer Gray, sister-in-law Britney Gray, and “Mimi”.  Patrick in also survived by many, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 21st from 2:30 to 5:30 at the South Shore Harbour Country Club in League City, Texas.

Patrick was a wonderful, kind man who will be missed. I've had the honor of working with him at Wholesale Electric for a couple of years. My prayers go to his lovely wife, Shana, his mother and closest friends and family.

      1. Patrick was an amazing sweet, kind, compassionate kid. My oldest son grew up with Patrick and they had many baseball games and sleepovers through their childhoods. I remember when it was grandparents Day at the elementary school and Ethan got to share his grandparents with Patrick. Patrick left such an impression on my father that he came back talking about this nice young boy that joined them and would bring him up often through the years. That's the kind of kid Patrick was. I cannot imagine what you are all going through and I send you all prayers of comfort. I know Patrick is with his father now. RIP Patrick and please watch over your Mom, Matthew, Shana and her family as I know you will ❤️🙏 You have left this Earth way too soon! Heaven has another angel…🙏

Sending my deepest sympathies, Patrick was a year old than my oldest, but I got to know what a sweet, caring kid, he was on the baseball team that my son played on with Patrick. He was always smiling, everyone was fond of him.
