Marion (Mimi) K. Wieners of Friendswood passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2026. Loving daughter to Susan M. Wieners and the late Robert B. Wieners. She is survived by her brother, Robert B. Wieners, Jr., her sister-in-law, Elida G. Guajardo, niece, Camila Wieners and nephew, Michael Wieners of Pearland, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved dearly.
Marion was born on June 12, 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii while her father was stationed there on active duty with the United States Marine Corps. As a child, she would go on to call different parts of the United States home, moving from Honolulu to Reno, Nevada; Braintree, Massachusetts and Jacksonville, North Carolina. Upon her father’s retirement from the military in 1996, the family settled in Friendswood, Texas. Marion would attend Friendswood independent schools from middle school until her graduation from Friendswood High School in 2003. Her education credentials also included a bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University and a master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University. Marion’s fondest memories of her time in school included her time dancing with the Friendswood High School Wranglerettes. She loved her fellow team members and kept in touch with them beyond her years in school.
Marion will be remembered for being a loving daughter, sister, friend and relative. She adored her brother, Robert who was her devoted protector, rock and confidant. Marion was highly dedicated to her career as an early childhood and special needs teacher. Her devotion to her students extended beyond the classroom and she will be remembered by the families she served.
