Marcyle May Bell Coffman

December 1, 1930 – January 26, 2022

Marcyle “Marcy” May Coffman, age 91, passed away on January 26, 2022 at an assisted living facility in Manvel, Texas.

Marcy was one of twelve children born to Carlie and Ruby May Bell in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on December 1, 1930. 

Marcy lived most of her life in the Oklahoma City area.  In 2012, she moved to the Del Webb community in Richmond, Texas to be close to family.  She suffered a stroke in September 2020 and moved into an assisted living home. 

Marcy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. When she was younger, she enjoyed bowling, square dancing, and playing the piano.  She also liked to travel and enjoyed lake life with her late husband Sid Coffman at their vacation home near Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma.

Marcy is survived by her son, Terry Stone and his wife Jeannie, daughters Becky Lane and her husband Rocky, and Barbara Darnell and her husband Nick.  She also has three grandchildren, Jeffrey Coats and his wife Joy, Ashlee Fisher and her husband Jason, and Adam Stone, as well as, six great grandchildren, Phoster and Tristan Coats, Preston Haner, and Jack, Hayes, and Kate Fisher.

God’s Walk*

One day God and Granny went for an extra-long walk,

And they walked on and talked on,

Until God said, “You are a long way from home and are so tired;

You had better just come home with me and stay…

And Granny went!
