Linda Jo Klusendorf, 84, Friendswood Texas passed away on June 23, 2026 peacefully.
She was born to Lynn and Josephine Brooks in Akron Ohio on July 15, 1941. She always said “Yankee by birth, chose to be a Texan.”
She loved Friendswood where she nurtured and raised 4 children to be best they could be. She worked many years as a secretary for FISD, and had many friends she loved. She later worked as a secretary at the Good Shepherd Episcopal School.
She met the love of her life Roy Klusendorf and married on June 9 1978. Together they built a beautiful life together. Our family had many traditions but the best was when the beloved grandchildren would come to Texas every summer for 4th of July then a week at the beach house.
Our Mom & Roy were very active in the community of Friendswood and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved Roy, son in law Craig Hall, nephew Michael Ing and her parents Lynn and Josephine.
She is survived by her sister Evelyn (Victor) her brother Arthur Brooks (Dinah) many nieces and nephews.
Her children Terri (Rick) Robberts, Tami Hall (David), Timothy (Millie) Aurand, Thomas (Shannon) Aurand.
Her beloved grandchildren Jeremy (Glenn) Merrill), Jamie (Harvey) Higger, Brett (Taylor and daughter MacKenzie) Aurand, MaryElizabeth (Cooper) Lee, Wyatt Aurand, Nicolas Robberts, Ember Aurand and one Great Grandchild, Jettson Aurand.
I would like to thank incredible staff at Morada and Faith Hospice that took loving care of our Mom.
Friends and family are cordially invited to a Memorial Service on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 10:00AM at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 1207 Winding Way Dr, Friendswood, TX 77546.

Linda was such a lovely lady and a friend to all who knew her. I know her family is happy she is finally with Roy again.

I knew Linda and Roy for many years through GE at JSC. I’ll be praying for the family but know she’s joined loved ones in a better place.
Miss you my sister we had some great talks together. Shared our dreams and what adventures we wanted to do. Love you and Roy so much RIP until we meet again..❤️❤️
A lovely lady inside and out. One was blessed to have Linda as a friend. She adored her Roy and her family! She and Roy were a”power couple”- always giving of themselves , to Good Shepherd Church, Rotary, and the Friendswood community.Linda began work at Good Shepherd School as the then Directors’secretary when I did- 1998 – and did so with wisdom, efficiency, and love for all the school’s children. A true woman of God, and a joy to be friends with!
