Jeannette E. Sama was the cherished daughter of the late Michael and Carmela Stillisano (Ascrizzi). She was the wife of the late attorney Robert F. Sama, and for 53 years her marriage was devoted to partnership rooted in true love.
Devoted mother of Robert J. Sama and Dr. Margaret Ann Goebel and her husband Brad of Friendswood, Texas.
Dear sister of Rose Castano and her late husband Gregory, Orsolina Scordamalgia and her late husband Salvatore, and her Twin sister Cecilia Lentine and her husband Robert all of Watertown, MA.
Very proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren, twins Isabel and Vicente (Tito) Resto, Joseph, Daphne, and Cecilia of West Virginia. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jeannette was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School and Burdett Business College in Boston, MA. Jeannette worked for the school for the blind as administrative assistant to Dr. Waterhouse, director of the school.
Jeannette loved to cook, especially for her family and baking was her delight. She enjoyed needlepointing and quilting. Jeannette was devoted to her twin sister talking many many times a day and traveled together many times.
Friends are invited to the memorial mass on February 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Mary Queen Catholic Church in Friendswood, Texas.
