In Loving Memory

Janice Wisley Bradley

November 11, 1954 – April 7, 2022

Janice Wisley Bradley, age 67, left this life on the morning of April 7, 2022 due to health complications.  Janice’s passing was peaceful and serene, while being surrounded by family and friends.

Janice was born November 11, 1954 to Marvin Wisley and Louise Haskins Wisley.  She grew up in Pearland, TX where she graduated from Pearland High School in 1973. Subsequently, she led all of the Class of 73’ reunions. Janice absolutely LOVED caring for others. This led her to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, while being a wife and a mother. This level of care also was extended to fuzzy critters. She was always taking in some sort of animal.

Janice loved to laugh and be the “cool aunt”. Nothing made her happier than being outdoors with a good book, especially Tom Clancy. Although, she couldn’t be outside too long or all of her freckles would start to come together. If she wasn’t reading a book, she was either playing card games or listening to 70’s music, especially Phil Collins. Janice’s willingness to help others was endless, which sometimes got her in “trouble”. She was truly a loving, caring wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend.

Janice was preceded in death by her mother, father, Marvin and Louise Wisley and late husband, Wayne Bradley.

She is survived by her son, Michael Bradley; her husband, George Hawk; her brother Gene Wisley and wife Kathy Wisley and nieces, Shannon Foster and Kelley Wisley. The list of family and loved ones seems almost endless. However, there is one “special cousin”, that is more of a sister to her, Lou McKendree.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546 (281) 992-7200.  The funerial service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Stark officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery, 1310 N. Main St. Pearland, Texas 77581.  After the service, friends and family will gather for a celebration of life and have lunch at First United Methodist Church, 2314 N. Grand Blvd. Pearland, Texas 77581.

Condolences may be sent to the Bradley family in care of Jeter Memorial Funeral Home at www.jeterfuneralhome.com.
