Guy Alfred Goodwin, 63, of Alvin, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Guy was born in Texas City on December 31, 1961 to Joel (Buddy) M. Goodwin and Audrey A. Halberg and lived in Alvin all his life.

Guy attended Alvin High School and took classes at Alvin Community College for computer drafting. He grew up riding motor cross motorcycles and participated in local races. Guy worked in the construction business in Houston before he became an Alvin Independent School bus driver. After his medical retirement his hobby was wood carving, focusing on eagles. He is survived by his sister Dana Sterns, brother, Terry Goodwin, and nieces Amber Goodwin and Rachel Sterns, along with many relatives and friends.
