Frank Kohler, age 85 of Alvin, Texas passed away on November 11, 2025 at HCA Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 18, 1939 to Frank Kohler and Betty Wendt Kohler. He was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Frank served 4 years in the Army and did a tour in Korea in 1964. When he came home from the Army, he went to work for Dow Chemical where he worked for 33 years as a welder, blacksmith and later became a supervisor.
His hobbies consisted of going fishing, wood working, listening to his music and enjoying time with his grandkids and grand dogs.
He is survived by his loving wife Stella of 64 years; son Frank Kohler and wife Kim of Waco, Texas; daughter Kristi Kohler-Power and husband Darren of Alvin, Texas; grandchildren, Cameron and Zachery of Alvin, Texas, Ian of Waco, Texas, Jennifer and Josh of Waco, Texas and Corey and Alexis of Conroe, Texas; great grandchildren, Lucas, Aiden and Penney.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Donald W. Pryor officiating. Interment will follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.
Pallbearers will include Frank Kohler, Jr., Ian Kohler, Corey Reaves, Darren Power, Zachery Power and Cameron Power.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

There are not enough words to say to your family that can cover the void you have now .I will miss the fun conversations we’ve had over the years. His dry humor and back and forth wits we shared..I will always be there for your family
