In Loving Memory

Evelyn Margueritte Clark Seaton

Evelyn Margueritte Clark Seaton

March 9, 1929 – November 9, 2025

Evelyn Margueritte (Clark) Seaton, also known as “Mickey” and “Margaret” to so many, born on March 9, 1929, and passed away on November 9, 2025, at age 96, leaves behind a profound legacy of love, resilience, and generosity toward others.

As a devoted wife and mother, she faced life’s challenges with remarkable strength rooted in her love for people, but even more importantly, in her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to whom she gave her life as a very young woman.

She lovingly raised one daughter – Linda Seaton Logsdon, and she devoted her life to bring her up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Her life was blessed to include a wonderful son-in-law, Gary Logsdon, and her precious grandchildren, Bethany Logsdon Shelley and husband Brian, and Garrett Logsdon and wife Ashlee, along with seven cherished great-grandchildren, Andrew Shelley, Owen Shelley, Liam Shelley, Caroline Shelley, Reese Logsdon, Maddox Logsdon, and Timothy Shelley, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. We will forever hold her memory dear.

In addition to her loving role as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother she was known fondly as “other mother” to countless friends, nieces and nephews throughout the years. She lived her life loving and serving others.

She used her many talents to bring joy to others by making and giving several creative gifts. She crocheted many baby blankets, hats and socks through the years, and especially devoted a lot of time to make beaded jewelry for most everyone she met. Her home was always a warm and inviting place, filled with the comforting aromas of fresh baked rolls or tasty peanut brittle or mouthwatering fudge. Her generosity will continue to live on in our hearts. Her unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life.

She will always be remembered for her deep love for the Lord, her quick and spunky with, her long and interesting conversations, her full of life spirit, and her incredible memory.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the beautiful women who took such wonderful care of our beloved matriarch during her final days with such love and true compassion: Lynda Barker, Sandy Mayrant, Paula Desham, Audrey and Irene from Friendship Haven, along with numerous dear friends and family who gave so freely of their time, and showered her with their love. We are truly overwhelmed with your kindness. May God richly bless you for this.

Serving as Pallbearers are Grandsons, Garrett Logsdon, Brian Shelley, and Great-Grandsons, Andrew Shelley, Owen Shelley, Liam Shelley and Timothy Shelley, and Son-in-law Gary Logsdon as Honorary Pallbearer.

Service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Friendswood Friends Church Chapel, 502 S. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX, 77546 with Rev. David Davenport officiating.  Interment will follow at Friendswood Friends Cemetery.
