In Loving Memory

Dustin Joseph Babin

January 10, 1989 – May 28, 2022

Dustin J. Babin passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 28, 2022 surrounded by his closest family and dear friend.

Dustin was a beloved son, brother and uncle who is survived by his mother Donna Babin, father Michael Babin (Sheila Phillips), his sister Leslie Brown (Stephen Brown), niece Presley Brown and nephew Landry Brown all of Friendswood, Texas, grandparents Ruth and Dan Hill of Goliad, Texas, Carolyn Brittain of College Station, Texas and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dustin was born on January 10, 1989 in Webster, Texas. He grew up in Friendswood and attended P. H. Greene Elementary, Brookside Intermediate and graduated from Clear Brook High School, class of 2007. After graduating from high school, Dustin found a passion for fitness and motivating people. He was a personal trainer and CrossFit coach for many years. He was also a bouncer and server extraordinaire at numerous local restaurants. He graduated from College of the Mainland with an Associate’s Degree in Process Technology in 2018 and followed his grandfather’s and father's footsteps working in the Acetic Acid unit at Celanese Chemical Plant in Clear Lake.

Dustin had an infectious smile, laugh that made you giggle, positive attitude, generous heart and a way of making even a stranger feel special. He had recently purchased his first home and loved clearing his land to prepare for his dream of a future Farm. Dustin had a love for animals, especially his Pitbull Roxy. He also enjoyed spending time with his niece and nephew who gave him the special name of Uncle Bug.

Dustin is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents MJ and Betty Babin, his maternal grandfather Douglas Brittain, aunt Glenda Brittain and cousin Lisa O'Docharty.

Dustin's family will be hosting an informal Celebration of Life on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 5pm-7pm at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center, 400 W Walker St., League City, Tx 77573.

In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up via Go Fund Me at https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-dustins-memory-farm-project in order ease the financial burden of his bills and to continue Dustin's dream providing the love and care for his Farm. Donations can also be made to a worthwhile charity of your choice.
