Charles E. Boyle

January 12, 1951 – December 28, 2023

Charles Boyle, known fondly by his friends as Chicky, passed away on December 28, 2023, in Pearland, Texas.  He was born on January 12, 1951, in Philadelphia, PA, to Maria Long and Charles Boyle.

He resided much of life with family and friends in the Grays Ferry neighborhood (Shout out to Deans! Go ND!).   He had a long career at the 30th street USPS. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maryann Crossley Boyle; wife, Carol Wilczak Boyle; friend, Carol Roush; and his granddaughter, Carissa.

In retirement, Chicky visited family in Texas, and decided to stay, making his home along the shores of Galveston Bay with his friend in retirement, Carol Roush and their Jack Russell Terrier, Charlie Brown.

Chicky is survived by his siblings, Maria Reynolds (husband Ed) and Samuel Boyle (late wife Debbie).  His legacy continues through his children, Charles Boyle (wife Jennifer), Maryann Hafer (husband Dale Jr.), Kimberly Petry (husband Jeff), and Michael (wife Jen); his nine grandchildren, Jesse, Ryan, Amber, Jacob, Katrina, Zoey, Kylie, Emma, and Taylor.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 9:00A.M. at Mary Queen Catholic Church Chapel, 606 Cedarwood Dr, Friendswood, TX 77546, the service will follow at 10:00A.M., with Father Trey Crespo officiating. 

The burial will immediately follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
