Carolyn Joyce Lewis, 91, went to be with our lord and savior December 22, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Carol was born October 25, 1934, to Lyle and Florence Milligan in Albia, Iowa.

Carol married her high school sweetheart Ray Lee Lewis in 1951. They spent 28 wonderful years together until Rays passing. They were members of the Atwood Air Farce, a gathering of aircraft enthusiasts and friends who shared many happy memories together.

After Ray passed, Carol married Bill Lewis and lived happily together until Bill’s death in 2008.

Carol is proceeded in death by her parents Lyle and Florence, sister Jackie, and brother Tommy. She is survived by Sister Jan Rist of Iowa, her 3 children Ron Lewis and wife Pat, Brenda Karcher, Connie Adkisson and husband Duke. Grand children Jimmy, Ronnie Ray, Chris & Tim Lewis, Scott and Andy Lesko, and Trevor, Megan & Quentin Adkisson and many great grandchildren.

Carol was a great mom and wife. She was dearly loved and will be so dearly missed.

There will be a graveside service held at a later date.
