In Loving Memory

Bonnie Lou McAllister Keever

Bonnie Lou McAllister Keever

March 20, 1942 – October 2, 2025

Bonnie Lou McAllister Keever, born on March 20, 1942, peacefully passed away on October 2nd 2025, leaving behind a profound legacy of love, resilience, and simple joys. As a devoted mother, Bonnie faced life’s challenges with remarkable strength, particularly after the passing of her husband. She lovingly raised her five children – Clarence Keever, Karen Keever (deceased), David Keever, Darlene Moffett and Deborah Washington – instilling in them the values of family and perseverance. They grew to include many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life and will forever hold her memory dear. She also is survived by her sister, Sharon and brother, Gordon.

In addition to her enormous role as a mother, Bonnie was a valued member of the community. She dedicated a significant part of her life to driving the school bus, ensuring the safety of children to and from school. This job was more than just a responsibility to Bonnie; it was a source of pride and connection. In her later years, she would often sit and watch the school buses as they drove by, her eyes twinkling with fond memories of her time behind the wheel.

Bonnie had a remarkable talent for creating things with her hands. She was an exceptional seamstress and had an incredible ability to knit and crochet intricate patterns and make practical items that were both beautiful and useful. Her home was always a warm and inviting place, filled with the comforting aromas of preserves, freshly baked cinnamon rolls and bread. A true testament to her nurturing spirit and love for sharing with others. She had a soft spot for all creatures, especially kittens, and she loved them all. Bonnie will be remembered for her unwavering resilience, her loving heart, and the simple, everyday joy she brought to those around her. Those memories will continue to live on in our hearts. She was a beacon of love and warmth that will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held of Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546.
