Ann Raines Clark, age 90, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025.

Ann was born in Oakwood, Texas, and spent her life devoted to her family, faith and community. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her. 

She retired from Empire Truck Lines in Houston, Texas, after 26 years of dedicated service. Outside of work, Ann found joy in sewing, dancing, and music. She was an avid card player and especially cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, creating memories filled with laughter and love. Ann was a lifelong christian, and her faith was a guiding force throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Fannie Raines; siblings Olive Raines and Terrell Raines; sister in law Louise Raines; nephew Terry Raines and Jason Raines; daughter Donna Taylor; grandchildren Cristal Walk, Logan Walk and Ashley Sherley.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Bill Clark; daughter Kim Alvey (David); granddaughters Lauren Davis (Wes), Samantha Ward (Caleb), Brittanie Doaks and grandson Joseph Sherley; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandson; along with a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory always; her beloved pets Rocky and Meowy. 

Visitation will be held on December 26,2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Jeter Funeral Home in Friendswood, Texas.

Graveside services will be held on December 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at North Creek Cemetary in Nineveh, Texas, where Ann will be laid to rest.

Ann will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her legacy of faith and family will live on for generations.

  1. Heartfelt Condolences as my dear friend has gained her wings and arrived in Heaven. You’ll truly be missed by all that knew you. It has been an honor to be considered a friend ! I’ll see you again someday ! You knew I loved you as any brother would love his sister. We’ll look after Bill until he is reunited with you. Love and Prayers for the entire family.
