April 12, 1944 – May 11, 2024

William Edward Holt, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and soon to be great grandfather, passed away on May 11, 2024 peacefully at home at the age of 80. He was born on April 12, 1944 to the late Allie and William Holt. He has two remaining siblings, Barbara and John and was preceded in death by his brothers Robert, Richard, Buck, and sister Winnie. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Margie Holt, his partner in all things, who shared his love of family and traveling.

Eddie, as he was affectionately known, graduated from Smiley High school in 1962. He was a hard worker and spent his 40-year career as a crane operator. Most of all, he was a dedicated family man. His family was the true light of his life.

He is survived by his daughters, Angela Fletcher and husband Mike, Laura Belin and husband Jason, along with his five cherished grandchildren: Karleigh, Jordan, Conner, Logynn, and Jake. They will fondly remember their PawPaw cheering at their sporting events, attending concerts, and being a constant source of love and support.

Known for his love of BBQ, classic rock and roll, and sense of humor, Eddie always kept everyone around him laughing with his witty comments and enjoying a good time. He was a great man and model for what a husband and father should be.  His absence will be irreplaceable for his family and the memories will be forever cherished.
