Walter Edward Cole, 61, passed away to be with his Heavenly Father February 6, 2021. Known to his friends and loved ones as “Eddie” and “Fast Eddie”, he was a loved presence in many lives. Eddie was born January 30, 1960 in Houston, Texas to Mildred “Millie” Bean Cole and Robert “Bob” Harrison Cole, Jr. He was the youngest of four siblings, survived by Pamela DuBose, Phillip Cole and Debbie Carpenter.
Eddie was talented beyond measure. He was a master of his craft installing beautiful hardwood floors. Eddie loved to fish, listen to Van Halen, U2, Stevie Ray Vaughn and especially loved his 5150 Race Team. Eddie treasured spending time with his “5150 Race Partner” Michael Majeska. He loved visiting family and friends throughout his life. He was a man of many talents; he could fix anything and was meticulous with everything he repaired.
Eddie is survived by his daughters, Laura Marie Steele and Nikki Anne Goins; his son-in-law Mark Goins; Grandchildren Jessie, Caitlyn, Donny, Averie, Makenzie, Ryan, Madelyn, Ryder, Jacob, Karsan and Myles. Great-granddaughter Nova. Eddie had many nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Visitation on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10:00am at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 North Friendswood Drive with the funeral service to follow at 11:00am with the Reverend Ricky Harper officiating. The burial will follow at the South Park Funeral Home at 1310 North Main Street, Pearland, TX 77581. Eddie will be buried next to his brother-in-law, Donald Ray McKellop.
