December 18, 1948 – August 14, 2025
Tresa Diane Moran, lovingly known as “Diane”, “Mom” and “Maw Maw,” passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of August 14, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born in Kentucky on December 18, 1948, and later moved to Texas when her children were very young. Diane devoted her life to creating the best possible future for her family.
She eventually settled in Alvin, Texas, where her family began to grow. In 1992, she became a proud grandmother, lovingly raising and spending time with her five grandchildren during the early years of their lives. A dedicated homemaker, Diane found her greatest joy in caring for her family and nurturing the bonds that meant everything to her.
She is survived by those she held most dear: her sons, Louis Ray Moran and Richard Dwain Moran; her daughter, Michelle Elain Moran; and her daughter-in-law, Shelly Lea Moran. Each of them carries with them her resilience, compassion, and unwavering devotion to family.
Diane is also survived by her beloved grandchildren—Jacob, Brian, Mason, Jaden, and Mia—as well as her great-grandchildren, Allison and Lyla. She was a constant source of love, wisdom, and pride, and her memory will continue to be a guiding light in their lives.
A visitation and service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas.
Diane’s legacy lives on in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Diane would come over when I watched the kids, and she always made me feel welcome and made me laugh. I really enjoyed her company. She was always genuine, and I admired that about her.
Ray – She will always remain a part of you. Time will heal.
