February 21, 1927 – November 17, 2022
Susan Tuttle Griffith, wife of Herbert F. Griffith (deceased) passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 95 years. She was the loving mother of Charlotte Turner of Abbotsford British Columbia, Canada, Scott Griffith (Deborah) of Forestdale, MA, Stephen Griffith (Debranne) of Friendswood, TX, and Benjamin Griffith (Elizabeth) of Sanbornton, NH. Susan leaves her four children, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Susan was the youngest of six children born to Howard M. and Jane Haas Tuttle of Wakefield, MA.
Her family remembers Susan as a great mother who loved and nurtured all her children, and always held them in positive regard. Her most enjoyable job was that of being a mom, loving her children, supporting their endeavors, and encouraging them to do their best in whatever they chose in life. Susan always made the time and gave the time to her children supporting their childhood interests and activities. Susan was very fun-loving and thought laughter was the best medicine. She was creative and loved to work on projects big and small from building a home from the ground up to teaching her grandchildren how to create seasonal decorations and gifts. Susan especially enjoyed the beach, raising dogs and travel. Susan was always available for conversation with friends, acquaintances, and strangers.
Susan will be remembered as a loving, guiding, and nurturing mother and grandmother, who herself, could be “gritty”, holding strong beliefs and holding a firm stance on these beliefs.

I'm missing you mom, may you rest in peace now alongside dad.
Thanks for the memories, Mom. There are still so many questions I wanted to ask. Miss you. Praise God you are reunited with Dad.
