Dear Shirley,
You were an inspiration to me to be a strong and independent woman throughout my life. I will continue to portray that lesson and pass it down to my children. I appreciate the last few months of y’all becoming closer to me and my little family. I will always remember you and love you forever. Rest in Paradise.
Dear Robert,
You and Shirley were always the funniest, loudest most loving but brute people at the party. I mean that in the best way. I loved watching you two be yourselves with each other. I know you loved that woman more than words. And I pray for your heart to mend. I love you so much. You’re a great man. Chris and I both love you very much.

Miss Shirley I just heard about your passing. I’m shocked and saddened. We always had some good chats and warm hugs and visits taking care of Miss Betty, Captain and the other kids. I considered you a friend and I’m sorry your time came so soon. Prayers for your family, I know they love and miss you.
