Nancy meant so much to us. She was my mom’s caregiver for 3 years and did an awesome job loving on us and my mom. She’ll always have a place in our hearts. She was an amazing Christian and friend. Nancy, you will surely be missed by all! Love , Oliver and Cris Schlaegel and Pauline.
I have many fond memories of visiting the Burge house when I would go with my Dad to drop off cars or pick up radiators when he was still alive. Ms. Nancy always came out and talked to me and had to see how I was doing. Later as and adult I would see her at church and or around town. She always had that great smile and laugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Burge and Magness families, Mike Redman and Jennifer Judkins Redman
Nancy was a great friend and just a sweet person. I had know her since I was little and went to school with Gary. Nancy came to my home for years to a Bible Stufy I hosted and was so in tuned with the spirit of God and his word. I also as a Realtor had the pleasure of selling her and Bens home. She was an encoutager and I was truly BLESSED to call her friend.
To Nancy’s family.
I was touched by how devoted Nancy was to her family, how she engaged with encouraging activities and by studying the Bible with others.
I am so sorry for the pain you are feeling, and it is my desire to provide some comfort. (Colossians 4:11) We realize it is hard to know what to say to someone who is overcome by grief. Yet, from John 11:17, 33-35—Jesus gave way to tears, even though he knew that he was about to resurrect Lazarus. Jesus’ tears confirmed his love for Lazarus’ family-Mary and Martha.
Although, it is consoling to know that the Creator, the God of all comfort, will eliminate all grief and provide permanent consolation as stated in John 5:28, 29 American King James Version –“28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth;…
The Creator has provided so many comforting scriptures to note a few: Psalm 20:1; 31:7; 38:8, 9, 15; 55:22; 121:1, 2; Isaiah 57:15; 66:13; Philippians 4:13 and 1 Peter 5:7.
Take care family of Nancy.
