May 19, 1961 – April 7, 2023
Molly Joan Heath Blakeslee passed away April 7, 2023 with her husband by her side, following a recurring illness.
Molly was born on May 19, 1961 in Selma, Alabama, the daughter of the late Joan Heath and Mark Heath, who had served in the military and later served as a project manager at NASA in Texas. The family moved a few times, with memorable years spent living in Hawaii as well as many years in Friendswood Texas. Molly attended Friendswood schools and graduated from Friendswood High School in 1979. She worked for many years in healthcare human resources, retiring as a Director. She married her husband Mark in 1991. Molly enjoyed travel, the outdoors and she loved the beach.
Molly had an independent spirit and was a lot of fun to be with, and especially enjoyed the time she recently spent with high school friends.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 32 years Mark, as well as two brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both her parents and her brothers, Jay and Mark, both of whom had served in the Navy.
Per Molly’s request she will be cremated and no services will be held.

I am missing you every day, my Molly. You left us far too soon. Our friendship was a gift I will always remember. You are together with your family and may peace be with you. ❤️ Sending prayers of comfort to you, Mark.
I am so saddened to learn of you passing, Molly. It was great to see you and Susan after all of the years since our school days. Revisiting some of those memories of the people and places of our youth with you two at La Casita was wonderful. Wishing your husband, family and friends much peace and comfort as we all grieve your passing.
Godspeed, Molly. Enjoy your heavenly family reunion & tell those brothers of yours 'Hello' from the Crouch boys.
May God have you , Molly in his kingdom resting in peace . ❤️
My condolences to Mr Mark and family. I’m so sorry for your great loss.
I was shocked to hear of your passing after we had so recently reconnected. What a nice surprise when my old friend popped up out of the blue to say hello. You still had the same sparkle and sense of humor that I remembered from our childhood. I have so many fond memories of your family and your beautiful home and our little adventures like the long summers at the beach and the etiquette class at Almeda Mall that our mothers made us take together. I remember sitting up late one night in Friendswood and you telling me about the dream you had just before your father died. Molly, I will hold sacred space for those memories as you set out on your next adventure. Go in peace my friend. Fair winds and following seas.
Damn, we had just got back in touch after all these years. Molly was always such a great person and friend since elementary school. She will be missed by all who knew her. Godspeed my friend.
Oh gosh, may you rest peacefully in God’s hands Molly. Molly contacted me recently to reminisce and give affirmation of her memory about the extreme competitive and sometimes violent relationship between her brother Jay and me. I assured her all was good in my heart with her, Jay, Mark, and their mom. Maybe you knew something was going on Molly, and wanted to reach out. Thank you Molly in respectful memory,
OMG….I have been searching for you on social media only to find this out. Molly, I had so much fun knowing you and hanging with you back in the Memorial Hermann days going to Party on the Plaza Thursdays. This is not something I wanted to know, I always just wanted to get back in touch with you. May you RIP. My condolences to Mark!
