February 28, 1993 – February 8, 2025
Megan Tolentino Santos passed away peacefully at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas, on February 8, 2025, at the age of 31. She was the beloved daughter of Edna and the late Cielito Santos.
Megan was predeceased by her father, Cielito Santos, and her uncles and aunt – Stanley Lim, Ana Lim, and Emerson Santos.
Megan is remembered by her loving family, Edna Santos – mother; her four other siblings, John, Sheenalyn, Jiselle, and Ysabelle Santos; and her boyfriend, Lawrence Chan.
She was born on February 28, 1993, in New York, New York, but later moved with her family to Friendswood, TX, where she grew up. She later moved to Austin, TX, to finish her first degree at the University of Texas, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Sciences in May 2015. Then, she moved back home to Friendswood to continue her studies at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in December 2018.
Known for being a loving soul, if she wasn’t attending her job as a nurse in the labor and delivery unit in Memorial Hermann, she was often traveling across the globe, eating at the newest places, at a pilates class, and hanging out with her friends and family. She loved spending time with her boyfriend Lawrence, often cooking with him.
Megan was a daughter, a sister, a girlfriend, a friend, and a mentor to many. She had strong values and was adored by anyone who came across her. Her legacy will live on with many of us.
Friends are invited to the visitation with the family on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr. Friendswood, TX 77546.

My condolences to the Santos family. There are no words to describe what you all are going through, I hope with time the ache may lessen and you can remember the beauty she brought to everyone she crossed paths with.
To my good friend YSA, to lose a sister is heartbreaking. But even through this horrible time the way you have carried yourself is truly beautiful. The fight you have inside of you is nothing short of inspiring. As an older sister myself, I can imagine the love Megan has for you is endless and she is so proud of you and how far you have come. She will always be proud of you.
I love you girl, I am deeply sorry for your loss.
What beauty she holds,
The beauty is bold,
The love to travel,
To walk through the gravel,
Her heart is full and sings,
In her life she has learned many things,
Her love for you will forever be,
She’s always with you now,
Because she has earned her wings 🪽
Edna so sorry for your loss. Now she is on God hands. She is resting in peace, where no pain, no worries no more tears, no more sorrow. I pray that God give you peace and heal your broken heart in JESUS NAME

To the Santos family, my heart goes out to you for the loss of Megan from this world. It is a loss to the whole world but I know the emptiness is greatest for those closest to her. I only had brief contact with Megan while at UT, but Megan always embodied love and care towards those around her. All who had the opportunity to know her can confirm that moments were more lively with Megan there. To the Santos family, thank you for bringing up such a wonderful person who has had such a positive impact in the world! Megan, you will be missed but we know that you will be looking over and continuing to care for your family and friends! Take care, until we meet again!
My family, your Tita Tina, cousins Peejay, Jenny, Kim and Jervin. and myself, will miss you Megan!
May your soul be reunited peacefully either your dad and the Lord!.
