In Loving Memory

Kristen Leigh Eudy

March 24, 1992 – January 17, 2023

Kristen Leigh Eudy of Houston, Texas sadly left us on January 17, 2023 at the age of 30.  She was born in Galveston, Texas on March 24, 1992.

Kristen was a sweet girl from the day she was born.  She was loving, kind, smart, and so much more.  She had a sweet heart and enjoyed giving to people.  She loved cooking and would make special treats for her family and friends for holidays, birthdays, special events, or just because she wanted to do something nice for someone.  She loved with her whole heart.  She fell in love with her niece the first time she laid eyes on her.  They had a special bond and always had fun together whether it was blowing bubbles in the back yard or playing “restaurant” together.  She was funny and loved practical jokes.  She had an infectious laugh, and you couldn’t help but laugh with her.

Her closest friends described their love of having her included in their daily conversations and found her to be spirited, kind, and passionate.  They say that she always showed constant pride, happiness, and contentment in contributing to K-pop events and projects.  Whether it was working to complete a community large-scale project or creating well-crafted gifts to give to her friends who shared her love of her favorite band, BTS.  She found true enjoyment in attending concert events and listening to the music of her favorite artists.  She was so generous with her love and affection and showed it often when sharing her lovingly, hand-crafted gifts to others.  Her generosity and enthusiasm for the things she loved are certainly traits we hope to carry on in her memory.

Kristen loved theater arts and music.  She played the viola throughout junior high and high school.  When she wasn’t performing in concerts, she devoted her high school years working behind the scenes in theater.  She did lights, sound, and stage design for all of the performing arts shows at Clear Lake High School.  Her devotion to the theater arts program earned her a letterman’s jacket in her sophomore year.  She traveled to several states giving her a chance to visit new places and meet new friends who shared her passion for music and travelling.  She graduated from Oklahoma City University on May 7, 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Theater Design and Production.  She worked hard for the things she enjoyed.

Kristen is survived by her mother, Stephanie Eudy, her grandmother, Dorothy Tantillo, her sister Ashley (Michael) Casteel, her niece, Lilly Casteel, and her uncle, Jeffery Sedtal.  She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, James and Vivian Cooper and her great-aunt and uncle, Ferron and Billie Risinger.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546 (281) 992-7200

Kristen touched a lot of people throughout her life.  We love her with all our hearts.  She will live in our hearts and memories forever.

Rest in peace, sweet girl.  You will be forever missed.

I was only around Kristen a few times since I live far away. I always found her to be sweet and kind. It was a privilege to attend her college graduation and spend some time with her afterward. It was a special time getting to know her as a young adult. I discovered how talented she was and how she loved theater. I thought of her often after that and prayed regularly for her and her future endeavors.

I have found fond memories of Kristen when visiting her in Friendswood. I think she was about 3 our four. I read a book she liked about a little kitty. She and Ashley came to spend a week with us in Indiana. Such beautiful and sweet little girls. Kristen I love and your will always be a beautiful memory. My sincere condolences to the family.
