Kathryn June Bostick Faulk was born June 30, 1923 to Eli Melton Bostick and Sally May Crow Bostick in Marshall, Texas. She passed away on January 14, 2025.
She was the youngest girl in a family of eight and the apple of her daddy's eye. When he picked cotton, she rode on his cotton sack. When he plowed, she was hanging on his plow. She loved sports as a child and beat out all the boys in the 50 yard dash.
Kathryn met the love of her life, Joe Faulk in 1941. They were married April 11, 1942 and spent 69 wonderful years together until his death in 2011.
Kathryn and Joe were the terrific parents of two children, Joe Jr. and Judi who both declare them the best parents ever.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; Eli and Sally Bostick; husband, Joe R. Faulk, Sr.; brothers, Oswald Bostick, Harold Bostick. James Bostick and Raymond Bostick; sisters, Evelyn Jones, Ava Falconer and Doris Graves; and grandson Jared Ryan Faulk
She is survived by her children, Joe Ralph Faulk, Jr. and wife Belinda of Porter, Texas and Judith Elaine Wilds of Alvin, Texas; grandchildren, Julie Ann Thompson of Lilbert, Texas, Jamie Lynn Dawson of Alvin, Texas, Jennifer Leigh Morgan and husband Steven of Alpharetta, Georgia and John F. Wilds Jr. and wife, Stephanie of Alvin, Texas.
She is the proud great grandmother of 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her faithful and loyal dog, Bella.
Kathryn was a member of Westside Church of Christ and Faith Community Church of Alvin, Texas.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546 (281) 992-7200.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas
