The Lord has called home his servant, Karon S. Johnson, 86. She was a most beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She entered into God's glory on Saturday, June 1, 2024, with her family by her side.
Karon was born September 30, 1937, in Edmond, West Virginia to Weston and Lorena Gill Skaggs. On March 30,1956, she married Karl A. Johnson in Washington DC. They were married for 58 years. Karon worked many jobs throughout her lifetime. The first was working for the FBI in the fingerprint department and the last was for Southwest OB/Gyn as a receptionist.
Karon was preceded in death by her husband Karl and her son Loren. Karon is survived by her daughter; Robin and husband Daryl Schulz, son; Scott, granddaughters; Jessica and husband Paul Kroesen and Melanie Riggs, and Daughter-in-law; Christine Johnson. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; Holly, Lane, and Theo Kroesen and many friends.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.; followed by the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home 311 North Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546. (281) 992-7200
Interment will be at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
