January 23, 1940 – December 17, 2022
Judith Lynne Fink was born in Detroit, Michigan, on January 23, 1940, and passed away on December 17, 2022. Judy met her husband, Elliot Fink, at Security Bank and Trust in Detroit, and they married in Houston, Texas, in 1972.
Judy was a devoted wife and mother who ensured her family was cared for. Judy loved her family, friends, and all animals. She was particularly fond of dogs and never saw a dog she did not think was cute, always saying, “Doesn’t it have a cute face.” Everyone described her as kind and sweet. She always took an interest in everyone she met. She could get anyone to open up and talk to her. She never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Adrienne Dowler, father, Lester Rankin, and stepfather William Dowler.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Elliot Fink, son Daniel Fink (wife, Alma), granddaughter Daniella Fink and brother Tom Dowler.
Friends are invited to the visitation with the family on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546, (281) 992-7200.

So sad to learn of our dear friend Judy’s passing. We were so blessed to have had her as one of our closest friends for so many years. Will miss her friendly disposition and her great smile along with her interesting conversations. Our condolences to Elliot, Dan, and the rest of the Fink family.
Our sincere condolences, Elliot. Judy was a sweet person with a lot of love in her heart. Before we moved from Friendswood, I would occasionally run in to her at the grocery store—and knew that she was planning to bake some of her delicious desserts.
My deepest sympathy and prayers to Elliott, Daniel and his family. Judy welcomed me to the neighborhood in 2012 and we remained friends. She was so kind and sweet! I will miss her❤

My sincere condolences to the Fink family. I had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Fink through my friendship with her son, Dan. She always had a smile and exerted this positive energy that lit the room. Mrs. Fink's sense of humor was also next level. She would make you laugh and was someone who enjoyed swapping jokes. Mrs. Fink was a skilled chef. I can remember her trying to perfect recipes.
She was always gracious everyime my family and I met her. Mrs. Fink, you will be truly missed.
Judy was my dear friend and I will miss her each and every day. We saw eye to eye on just about everything. She really listened to me and always had the best advice. Judy supported me in many marathons and cheered along side me watching Packer games.
She called it as is. No candy coating. She loved her family so much and always told us we were family. She was one of the most honest people I knew.
Forever love you Judy💕
