Janice Reeder Frankie, 86, of Pearland, TX passed away at home from a lengthy illness on December 29, 2021. Janice was born in Fort Worth, TX on December 28, 1935 to Roy and Sybil Reeder. Her family moved to Houston, TX when she was in elementary school where she attended St. Agnes Academy and was a 1953 graduate of Milby High School. Janice retired from Exxon after thirty-three years of loyal service.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Edward Carl Frankie.
Janice is survived by daughter, Maxine Heaney, grandchildren, Andrew, Jonathan, and Emily Orlando, brothers, Robert Reeder and David Brannen and five great grandchildren. Services are pending with Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, Friendswood, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023, with Rev. Jerry Stark officiating.
