October 3, 1934 – February 22, 2025
Janelle F. Anderson, 90, a resident of the Crossings Retirement Community in League City, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025. She was born October 3, 1934 to Claude Forrester and Pauline Edwards Forrester in McAlester, Oklahoma. She spent most of her school age years living with her parents in Columbus, Mississippi. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy and was happily married to William Anderson for 58 years.
Janelle was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Pauline Forrester, and her husband, William Anderson.
She is survived by her daughters Anne Latham, Judy Pauley, and Jan Christian and her nine grandchildren, Chris, Kyle, Todd, Zach, Sean, Taylor, Quincy, Hunter, and Rylie.
Before moving to League City, she spent 46 years living with her family in Friendswood. Janelle was an avid golfer and could always be found on the golf course as a member of Golfcrest Country Club in Pearland. She was also very active in the Friendswood Methodist Church and taught Sunday school for many years, played in the bell choir, and was involved in numerous committees thru the years. Janelle was deeply loved by her family and many friends and will be truly missed.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday March 22, 2025 at 11:00 am at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

A Wonderful lady Enjoyed great times with Her and Bill
a lovely lady – always. She cared for my mother and father when they were ill. I am so grateful she was one of Mother's closest friends for so many, many years. Rest in Peace.
