May 29, 1959 – January 10, 2025

Hunter Waide McKithan, 65, Of Alvin, Texas passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 after a lengthy battle with various unknown health issues. He was born in Texas City, Texas on May 29,1959 to Chester and Faye McKithan. After attending Alvin High School until 1977 and a short stint in the corporate world, he started a business in the catalyst industry and quickly decided he would never again work for anyone but himself.

Hunter was preceded in death by his parents; Chester and Faye; brothers, Russell McKithan and Chester "Boog" McKithan, and son Colton Lee McKithan.

He is survived by his son Hunter Waide McKithan II; sister Lea Kutz, Gale McKithan and Heidi McKithan Turner; granddaughters, Lakelee Jean McKithan and Emerald Anne McKithan. As well as numerous other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood TX 77546 with Rev. Jerry Stark officiating.
