In Loving Memory

Donnise Elliott Allen

May 23, 1954 – March 18, 2024

Donnise Elliott Allen, 69, of Pearland, Texas passed away peacefully on March 18, 2024, in the presence of those who loved her.

Donnise was born in South Houston on May 23, 1954, to Jack Arnold Elliott Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Elliott. She graduated from South Houston High School in 1972 where many of her most cherished friendships originated. In the years to come, she would later marry and give birth to son Daryl Hunter Allen.

Early on in Donnise’s working career, she filled various positions that ultimately shaped her vast understanding of business and accounting.  She later decided to leverage her unique talents and abilities by contributing to the family business.  She began working with her father and brother at Aerolift in the early eighties and would go on to grow the business there for over 3 decades.

Donnise enjoyed working in her garden, caring for and spoiling numerous pets, and travel. She took great pleasure in cooking and entertaining for her friends and loved ones. She also had special adoration for her grandson Cash who always enjoyed visiting Grandma Donnise and her puppies.

Donnise was a strong-willed, independent woman who rarely asked for help and never wanted to others to go out of their way for her.  To know her was to love her.  All who knew her will miss her loyalty, her patience, and her gentle, supportive presence. Over the years she endured various health struggles yet aways remained hopeful and optimistic.

Donnise was proceeded in death by her parents Jack and Mary Elliott. Remaining to cherish Donnise’s memory are Daryl Allen (Son) wife Danielle and grandson Cash Elliott Allen. Jack Elliott (Brother), wife Diane and nieces Laura and Rebecca.  In addition, she leaves behind countless lifelong friends whom she considered extended family.

Friends are cordially invited to visitation with the family on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 10:30A.M. with the memorial service to follow at 11:30A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas, 77546 (281) 992-7200 with Rev. Jerry Stark officiating.
