Donald William Seibert, Sr., 80 of Friendswood, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022. He was born July 4, 1942, to the late Phillip and Margaret Seibert in Bloom Township, Ohio.
He was raised and attended school in Cygnet, Ohio. Afterward, he enlisted in the Navy where he proudly served aboard the USS Kennedy.
Don married the love of his life, Sharon Ann Fortney on August 15, 1959. Their unconditional love for each other continued to shine throughout their days.
Don worked for Fabrication & Construction Services, LP until his retirement in 2015. He was a Catholic by faith. He enjoyed watching football, baseball, and Nascar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Sharon Ann Seibert, son Kevin Lee Seibert, and son in law, Steve Matthews. He is survived by his children: Donald and Judy Seibert, Vicki Matthews, Kim Seibert, Michelle Seibert; grandchildren: Lisa and Billy Pearson, Steven and Tatiyana Matthews, Jonathan Bryant, Tabetha and Zac Petch, Chris Bryant, Anthony Lott, Sherrie Bryant, Adam and Kristi Seibert; great grandchildren: Zachary, Tylor, Shayla, D.J., Cortez, Julien, Alyssa, Braxton, Kennedy, Ava, A.J., Haylee; brothers: Phillip (Sonny) and Patricia Seibert, John and Phyllis Seibert, David Seibert, Dale Seibert; sisters: Betty McCartney, Mary Yates, Barbara Swope, Julia Matzinger, Linda and Lou McGuire, Thelma Bankey, Theresa and Paul Preston, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12n, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Jeter Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Jeter Funeral Home.
