In loving memory of Donald Vincent Dolan, a man of unwavering strength and boundless compassion, born on August 4, 1932, and peacefully passed away on February 13, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, and leaves an incredible mark on his children Ann, Paul, Marty, and Jenny, as well as his 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Donald's life was defined by the rhythmic hum of cranes, a testament to his enduring work ethic and commitment. His dedication to the craft was as sturdy as the steel he maneuvered, leaving a legacy that will resonate for generations.
A revered member of Mary Queen Catholic Church in Friendswood, Texas, Donald was a steward in his faith, a man who exemplified the teachings of love and kindness. His presence was a beacon, illuminating the lives of those around him. His piercing blue eyes and infectious laugh. Friends fondly recall him as a luminary soul, always quick with a smile and a joke, making every interaction a moment to cherish.
Donald Vincent Dolan's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and warmth he shared so generously in his remarkable journey through life.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas, 77546 (281) 992-7200.
The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546 with Rev. Thomas Vellappallil, M.S. officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at the Houston National Cemetery.
