May 26, 1942 – March 23, 2023
Carroll Dale Langston, known to family and friends as Dale, passed away on March 23, 2023, surrounded by his family. Born May 26, 1942, to Audra (Eskew) and Raymond Langston in Peach Orchard, Missouri. Dale graduated from Malden High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Dale is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Sue, daughters Cari Lovorn and husband, Chris; Amanda Powledge and husband Ronnie, his two precious grandsons, Andrew and Alexander; brother Ralph Langston and wife, Barbara; and sister Brenda McConnell and husband, Brian as well as nieces and nephews.
Dale grew up on the family farm working alongside his father. He vacationed in Texas with his uncle and decided to make Texas home. Dale worked in the HVAC industry and owned his own HVAC business for 40 years. Dale was also a 32nd Degree Freemason and Shriner. While his business kept him plenty busy, he spent any free time on the water. Dale and Sue made so many memories boating and water skiing on the San Jacinto River. Dale would beam ear to ear taking his girls out on the boat. Memories of the river house are near and dear to their hearts.
After Dale retired, you could always find him tinkering outside on one of his many projects or at the shop fixing something. He was never one to just sit around. He always dreamed of owning an offshore fishing boat and that dream came true with his Grady White. Downtime with his family was equally important; he truly had a soft heart for the two boys that called him PawPaw.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 9:00 A.M. with the funeral service to follow at 10:00 A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Tx. 77546 (281) 992-7200.
