Bernadine Bratton, aged 88, a resident of Friendswood, Texas, passed away on December 16, 2022. She was the daughter of Ronald and Eula Ruth.
She was married to Richard Dean Bratton who passed away on April 8, 2001. They lived in Friendswood for 58 years.
Mrs. Bratton was a substitute teacher at Friendswood High School for 48 years and a big proponent of education. She loved gardening and was the president of her local garden club. She also loved going on cruises. She enjoyed knitting and made many knit blankets for charity and to give to new mothers in the community. She is survived by her daughter Sandi and two grandchildren, Ryan and Monika.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546, (281) 992-7200.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. S. Scott Cummings officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
