In Loving Memory

Andrew Scott Price

July 11, 1963 – February 27, 2025

Andrew Scott Price, 61, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on February 27, 2025, while doing what he loved most – being outdoors with his boat.  Scott enjoyed fishing and hunting and was outdoors as much as possible.  In addition to hunting and fishing in his spare time, Scott was a voracious reader and an excellent cook.

Scott was born in Bethany, Oklahoma, on July 11, 1963, to Jack and Janice Price, and was the second of three children having an older and a younger sister.  During his early years, the family moved several times to: Liberal, Kansas; Bakersfield, California; Wickliffe, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Ponca City, Oklahoma, where Scott graduated from high school in May 1981.

Upon his high school graduation, Scott enlisted in the Marines where he served on active duty for three years and as a reservist for three years.  After his honorable discharge from the Marines, Scott enrolled at Oklahoma State University earning his B.S. in Business Administration in December 1988, and his Master of Business Administration in December 1990.  During his time at OSU, he met Toni Ann Zemmer who became his wife in July 1991.

Scott’s career was varied and diverse starting in Houston with OHM Remediation Services Corp., where he met many of his current and long-term friends and colleagues. After Hurricane Katrina, Scott started his own company in order to remediate homes and buildings to make them useable again. He ran his business for several years before venturing into the LNG field working as a project manager with several companies.  His last position as a Senior Project Lead was with Entact in Houston, Texas.   He was a proud member of the International Propeller Club of the United States, founded in 1927. Scott enjoyed negotiating contracts, managing projects in the field, and solving problems. Scott was happiest when he was responding to multiple project crises at a time!

Scott has three daughters of whom he was extremely proud.  One of his greatest joys was spending time with his children and watching them grow into beautiful young women.  Scott was predeceased by his mother, Janice Price.  He is survived by his wife, Toni, of Pearland, Texas; daughter, Kathryn and husband (Philip) Dudley of Austin, Texas; daughter, Jessica Price of Pearland, Texas; daughter, Maria Denise Price of Terrytown, Louisiana; father, Jack Price of Owasso, Oklahoma; sister, Tara (John) Awezec of Lucas, Texas; sister, Jana (John) Adams of St. Louis, Missouri; and multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are cordially invited to a visitation on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM- 2:00 PM at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 North Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546 (281) 992-7200. The Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM.

Scott will be greatly missed. He and I worked together, hunted, and frequently shot clays together. He was modest about his time in the Maine Corps and survived the Beirut bombing while at the Embassy. Our conversations always focused on how proud he was of his families accomplishments.

    Rest in peace my friend,
