September 2, 1939 – December 28, 2022

Alice D. Taylor Aitken, age 83, passed away on December 28, 2022 in Houston, Texas.  Alice was born to Rev. Arthur and Grace (Mizer) Taylor on September 2, 1939 in Randolph County, Illinois.  She was the youngest of six children, her brothers, Roy and Warren and sisters, Nancy, Eunice (Eunie), and Cornelia (Kenney).

She married Paul Edward Kennedy on June 15, 1963 in Saint John and Saint James Church in Ferguson, Missouri. She was married to Kenneth Daniel Aitken on October 28, 1989.

Alice is survived by her children, Michael Kennedy, Mark Kennedy and Darian Hofer; grandchildren, Shawn Kennedy, Kyle Kennedy, Abigail Kennedy and Kayleigh Kennedy; and many other relatives and cherished friends.           

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546 (281) 992-7200 with Rev. Scott Cummings officiating.
