Alberta Pittser, 91, of Friendswood, Texas died in her home of natural causes on December 12, 2023. She was born on December 22, 1931, in Lebanon, Missouri to Albert & Eppah (Palmer) Luthy.
She married her military pen pal & was a military wife for 21 years. She was happily married for a total of 66 years. Besides being a homemaker and mother, she was a teacher and payroll manager.
She enjoyed playing Christian music at rehab and nursing homes. She loved taking care of her family, working outside in her garden, watching hummingbirds, reading, and crocheting.
In addition to her parents and her husband Clyde, she was predeceased by her son Andrew, her grandson Matthew Reinhart, and 8 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Leslie Pittser, Sr.; daughters, Geneva Shores, Mary Reinhart, Marie Nassiff, Amelia Enty, and Nancy Bradford; brother, Dallas Luthy and sister, Aurelia Miller; 17 living grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on December 20, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. with the Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00 A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 North Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546 (281) 992-7200 with Rev. Jeremy Kraatz officiating.
The burial will be at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas following the service.
