In Loving Memory

Donna June Key Sidlo

June 18, 1960 – April 13, 2025

It is with overwhelming sadness that the family of Donna Sidlo announces her departure from this world. On Sunday, April 13th, 2025, our beloved Donna passed away at the age of 64.

Donna was born on June 18, 1960, in Refugio, Texas, to Don and Virgie Key, and she grew up alongside her four sisters. She obtained a diploma from a high school in Alvin, Texas, and went on to study and get an associate’s degree from a local community college. She worked as an LBN, and as a registered respiratory therapist at HCA Clear Lake and HCA Mainland for over 28 years. She was married at the age of 18 and had two children shortly after at the ages of 19 and 21, Steven and Stephanie. After a few decades, Donna was blessed with a stepson, Kevin.

Donna was often described as being the life of the party, and it was true. She treated everyone as a friend and openly accepted all with loving arms. Her love of laughing, midnight drives, and impromptu adventures are some of the things her loved ones remember most. She had a deep appreciation for nature, bluebonnets and the ocean especially, and always shared that love with her friends and family. She loved the Lord fiercely and often volunteered with various groups ranging from Sunday School to her widowers’ group of ladies. She loved her church family very much and gladly served her life loving the Lord. She could make you feel like you were the only person that mattered, and she was always there to lend a helping hand when you needed one. Any connection you made with her was a genuine one because she was one of the most genuinely loving people to have ever graced our lives.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents Don and Virgie. Her memory lives on in her sisters Debbie, Judy and Jill, her children, Steven, Stephanie, and Kevin, her daughters-in-law Sara and Amy, her grandchildren Madison, Grace, Summer, Kennedy, and Dylan, and her many cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. with the funeral service to begin at 12:00 P.M. at First Church, 1850 Broadway St.  Pearland, Texas 77581. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.

Condolences may be sent to the family in care of Jeter Memorial Funeral Home at www.jeterfuneralhome.com.
