January 7, 1939 – February 11, 2025

Shirley Ann Falco White, 86, of Friendswood, Texas passed away on February 11, 2025.  She was born to Francis and Lily M. Howard Falco on January 7, 1939 in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk England, located on the North Sea.  Her father served in the Merchant Navy during WWII, as a cook on a Merchant Naval Ship.

She completed her schooling at Greenacre School for girls where she participated in many sports, including netball, athletics, gymnastics and roller skating.

Shirley married on April 19, 1958 to an American Air Force serviceman, Nelson White, the beginning of a fabulous marriage.  As life as a military wife, she traveled to many places around the world and would establish a home in each place.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Stewart who lived to be 20 years old, he lost his life to a birth defect, grandson Timothy White and daughter-in-law Vera White.

Shirley is survived by her husband Nelson and her sons, Anthony White and Gregory White and his wife Linda, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and cherished friends.

She was a loving mum, grandmother and great grandmother.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 1207 Winding Way, Friendswood, Texas 77546 with The Rev. Justin Briggle officiating.  Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
