July 22, 1941 – January 17, 2025

Kathleen Sutton, 83, long term resident of Alvin passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025. She was born July 22,1941 to Lanova Sharp and Robert Fulton Sharp in Indianola, Mississippi. She graduated in 1958 from Alvin High School.

Kathleen was a dedicated clerk at Texas New Mexico Power Company for 27 years. Her hobbies included shopping, spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a long-term church member of Alvin Missionary Baptist Church.

Kathleen was survived by her husband Harold Sutton, daughter-in-law Donna Whatley, granddaughters Jennifer Whatley Patterson and Clayton Patterson, Lindsay Whatley and Timothy Parker, Angie Cox and Brian Cox, Brittany Weise and Brandon Weise, Erica Daniels, Jessica McDaniels and Mary Graes. Her grandsons Randall Whatley Stevens and Christopher Anthony Stevens, Christopher and Heather Sutton, Jacob Sutton, Ricky Sutton, Paul Sutton. Her great grandchildren Brayden Parker, Kynslie Podraza, Bentley Ramirez, Kaylee Cox, Emmett Cox, Talia Weise, AJ Weise, Jackson Daniels, Lucy Sutton, Richard Alan Sutton, Alexis Rose Sutton, Caroline Whitmarsh, Brandon Whitmarsh, Eevee Sutton, Mary Ann Sutton and Samuel Poteet and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 North Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546. (281)-992-7200. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.

Pallbearers will include Timothy Parker, Brayden Parker, Christopher Stevens, Jesse Alvarado, Mark Alvarado, and Tim Canalito.
