In Loving Memory

Dylan Wade Sabayrac

August 21, 1995 – February 6, 2023

“I can't live ordinary if I plan to die legendary.” Dylan Wade Sabayrac, 2016

Dylan Wade Sabayrac of Friendswood, TX, was met by his grandpa in Heaven on February 6, 2023. He was 27 years old, born on August 21, 1995.

Dylan had an infectious smile that lit up a room. He touched so many lives and put others first. Dylan was very loving and thoughtful. He was always helping people and was very giving…literally. He gave away the clothes off his own back if someone needed them. Dylan was real. His sister, Alyssa, describes him as “the most impactful human being with an unmatched energy, no matter where he went. He was his truest, unapologetic self every single day.” He made people laugh and gave the biggest hugs. His friends describe him as a selfless and charismatic rare soul with a witty humor who made everyone feel included and special. He was loyal and loved his family and friends. Dylan was especially crazy about his niece, Alayna, whom he called “Suga Bugg.” He was her Uncle Dylwan/Suga Monster. He also was known by his family and friends as Dill Pill, Wylwan and Lion King.

Dylan had an innate gift for music and loved to sing and dance. He could sing on key at the age of 3 and was known for his Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer performance on the coffee table. Dylan had a soft spot for all animals. His precious dog, Skye, was his world. He was a Washington Redskins fan, traveled at the drop of a hat and fished whenever he got the opportunity. Dylan was a spiritual young man who loved God and attended Grace Church of Houston.

Dylan was preceded in death by his grandpa, Gene Gentry.

He is survived by his parents, Sarah Sabayrac and Jason Sabayrac; grandparents, Gwen Gentry and Virginia Sabayrac; siblings, Alyssa Sabayrac, Hannah Sabayrac, Brooke Sabayrac and Zach Baker; his beloved niece, Alayna Smith-Allen; his dog Skye; brother-in-law, Nathan Smith-Allen; aunts, Jennifer Lewis, Brenda Hurst, Paula Klewer; uncle, Barry Sabayrac; cousins, Emily Lewis, Nicole Lewis, David Klewer, Jake Klewer, Brian Smith, Zach Swank, and Jacob Sabayrac.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home located at 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546.
