In Loving Memory

Bryce Dean Pilkington

October 13, 2000 – October 11, 2022

Bryce Dean Pilkington, 21, of Alvin, TX left this world on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 and entered his eternal home. Though he left this world far too soon, he left this world for a better place.

He was raised and attended school in Alvin, TX, graduating in 2019. Growing up Bryce had a niche for baseball starting at the young age of 5. With his dad as his coach, he continued his love for the sport until the age of 14. However, his true passion was hunting and fishing. As he got older, all of his free time was spent in the outdoors. His true happy place was being able to sit in the deer blinds or to be out on the water.

Bryce met his soulmate, Kayah Bertram, while in high school in the year of 2017. He later proposed to her on December 24, 2020. She was his world as he was hers. They planned to be married May of 2023. Bryce chose to follow his fathers’ footsteps and join the Centerpoint family as a lineman. He had found a career he loved and worked all the overtime he could to save for his future. He was so full of life, loved to make people laugh, and would be the first one there for someone in need. Anyone who was lucky enough to cross paths with Bryce was left with an unforgettable memory. He was one of a kind.

Bryce was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Ray and Emma Murphy of Alvin, TX. He is survived by his fiancée, Kayah Bertram, mom Tiffany Forgy and stepfather Jared Forgy, dad Chris Pilkington and stepmother Missy Pilkington, sister Stacie Chisum and husband Billy Chisum, brother Chance Long, sister Kaitlyn Pilkington, brother Conner Pilkington, sister Emma Forgy, stepbrother Kody O’Brien, stepsister Karysn O’Brien, stepsister Kennley O’Brien, grandparents, Ty and Lora Martin, John Pilkington, Dian Chapman, Mike and LeAnn Forgy and Donnie and Nancy Long. As well as many other family and friends who loved him very much.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX, 77546 (281) 992-7200.  Interment will follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, TX.

Pallbearers will include Conner Pilkington, Travis Martin, Brett Lambeth, Matthew Pilkington, Dustan Murphy, RJ Pilkington, Gary Lambeth, and Jarrod Baker.
